Reconstruction of the Airport Settlement Sarajevo (EC financed)

Reconstruction of the so called Airport settlement in Sarajewo with around 15.000 inhabitants. Since these settlement during the war came in-between front lines, it has been heavily damaged and / or destroyed. The “NGO-Help from Germany” deminded and reconstructed this area from 2007-2009 with funding from European Comission, German Government and the UN. During demining of the area arround 1000 mines have been identified and destroyed.
